@Sam Miller III ,
thank you so much for sharing, I truly enjoyed reading that. What an amazing life and legacy he led and left!
Thanks again so much for sharing!
Best,
Chris
P.S.(As I was reading I was wondering if Tommy Thompson was any relation to Frank "Best" Thompson who was my instructor in 1983. [YMCA and NASDS] When I got to the end of the article alas it doesn't appear so.)
PPS Quick OK Senate resolution for Frank Thompson, now wondering how many times Tommy and Frank's paths crossed? http://www.oklegislature.gov/cf_pdf/1997-98 INT/sres/SCR66 INT.pdf

@eastonpt

Tommy had many brothers and sisters 14 in all he was one of 15!
(Talk about going forth and populating the earth ! )
I only met his brother Sam-- We always joked there has to be at least one Sam in every family -- even it was the family cat.

Tommy was an exceptional human - very pleasant, didn't smoke or drink and one heck of a diver
So many good and great memories

I some how suspect Tommy was some how related to Frank Thompson

Good luck in your future diving adventures-- let us hear about them

Cheers from California -- where it all began
