Hello I am David , i go by dawg and I just found your site from a link from SharkVentures. I have been diving since 1999 , and did my first dive as a resort dive in Cozumel . I later went on to get my open water certification when i came home at New Horizons dive shop in Lexington,Ky. After about 2 years i later went to Walkers Cay and dove their Shark Rodeo and Recieved my advanced certification there.I am looking forward to more diving this summer as there are a lot of clear lakes in the area to dive in.

Welcome to the board!

Joe

Thanks for the welcome Scott and scuba joe. I am still learning my way around the site and really like what I see so far. Will post more as I get used to the site.

Howdy!

And welcome to SB - the biggest, the best, the fastest growing, and :D the friendliest!
If you'll click ScubaBoard.com above, you'll be taken to our long list of forums, a wealth of information and resources. At the bottom, be sure to notice the Local & Singles Dive Club forums.

Its interesting how many of tourists start with a resort dive. I snorkeled on trips for years, but then after 3 resort dives (surviving a 100 foot untrained dive with a DM who shouldn't have taken me there), I was hooked!!

PM me if I can help you learn your way around; that is - click my username to the upper left, then follow the prompts to send me a "Personal Message." :thumb:
