Hi Everyone, I've been in Florida for about 4.5 yrs. Left New Jersey in a hurry after the weather continually got worse in the winter ( translation: it just got to cold in the winter and found that Florida does not have winter depression). Love diving: beach, deep, wreck, wall, ets. Happy to be on board and looking to me all of you . :D Currently have a flexible schedule( after the holidays), so if you need a dive buddy give me a shout. Until we meet have a happy holiday season:)

JOE :)

Hi Joe,
To live up here in the northland you need some other hobby to get you through the long winters. I love diving, but snowmobiling does the trick in the winter. Anyway, I am doing a Bahamas dive in February, it seems that the frozen water won't completly cut it;) I did quite a few wreck dive on lakes Michigan and Superior this past summer, and I'm now officially hooked. As much as I like diving, I still like the seasons and I think I would miss the winters......... Or maybe i'm just nuts:loopy:

I love winter...,but, I can understand what you mean. Whenever I start thinking about diving, I get really anxious to get somewhere else.:auto:

I love seeing the white stuff fall, bundling up, shoveling snow, freezing, shoveling snow ... On TV!

Welcome to the board jriderski. Now you can make those phone calls up north right after they have a big snow and "complain" how cold cold it is down here and the water temps have dipped again, and how you can't possibly go outside to mow the lawn because of the temps.. LOL!

happy diving...looking forward to the next beach dive...

I recently became a member as well and have found a wealth of knowledge here. Folks are more than willing to share opinions and provide information. I've found that using PM (Personal Messaging) is a great way to get specific answers from a member to questions you feel they can anwer for you.

Have fun!
