New location?

I see that this forum has been moved to the "non-diving related" stuff category, and that seems a little odd to me. True some of the posts were not totally dive related, but most of them actually were...

Hope this won't revive the sexism in diving thread...:wacko:

I would agree that some of the recent posts have been non-diving related but to suddenly move the entire forum to "non-diving related" seems to speak loudly and I'm hoping that's not REALLY the message they are wanting to send.

Yes, a number of the posts could go into the other forums (equipment, etc) but you obviously thought there was a need for this at one time and now you're just taking it away.

Whether you meant to upset people or not, the "perception" with this change is not good and it will speak louder than any words you can say. Actions do speak louder than words.........

I do know that if I pulled something like this on my wife, I would get no dinner, and thats not all.

Womens Forum -where women(and some men) talk (mostly) about diving related problems for women-----this is now in the NON Diving related forum.......

Even the 'should I get my hair cut' is diving related, Dear.

Think of how that would effect diving if now she couldn't tie it up before diving, or in my case I'll leave it long now as I see how other women have trouble with their masks with short hair.

I am just having a heck of a time dealing with all the crying and whining on this board lately. It seems people can't get over making mountains out of molehills and perceive every moderator action or TOS/format change as an affront on their civil rights.

I think everyone needs to grab a 6 pack, rent "PCU", and learn how to get over themselves and talk diving!
