new kid on the block

hello,
I'm a newbie and have been diving on and off.
On was when our son was just born and off was when he was getting 4 (he's 5 now) so we took him on alternative vacations.
At 5 he loves water so we want to continue diving and hope that one day he'll pick it up as well.
Luckily the age for starting to dive goes down all the time!

Bring him down to South Florida for some snorkeling. I've had my kids snorkeling in the ocean at that age, and in rivers with Manatees when they were a little older. They love it!

I have 4 children myself. My oldest will be 13 in Dec, but she does not really show any interest in diving. How ever, my 8 year old shows a lot of interest in diving. My wive and I have taken her snorkeling while one of us was diving below. All she wanted to do is grab the reg, and descend. It is great she is excited about diving. It would be great if the rest of the children go as excited as her.
