Seriously, the issue of non-native invasive species in the marine environment is a very serious one. Here in SoCal we are dealing with a highly invasive seaweed (Sargassum horneri [= filicinum]) that has taken over shallow water habitats and is spreading fast. It was apparently introduced from one port in Japan, possibly by a single vessel.
 
It is, but in Spain thins are veeery slow. In fact, there is no study or proof that this specie causes no changes in its new environment, any risk to other specie, or just are not important at all :idk:
