Just spent a week diving around Keene NH and had a really good time. Mostly did local freshwater stuff and it was quite a bit different then the local diving around charlotte, nc. The lakes there are clear and cold with giant boulders everywhere. Got to spend a day at Nubble light in Maine and that was really really nice. So much more colorful than I imagined and crabs and lobsters everywhere you looked. I love shore dives and that was a great shore dive. Had a charter to Isle of Shoals but it was blown out so no seals for me:(
The shore entries in several places were pretty interesting, I was not used to climbing up and down huge rocks in full gear. Watching my buddy doing it in her doubles with no complaints was inspiring to say the least. The topside stuff was nice to look at as well, granite hills and trees everywhere you look.
Great dives with a great buddy makes for a nice week for sure.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Granite State, I'm also happy that you made it to the Nubble. The Nubble (and/or Folly Cove) are not to be missed for any diver coming to New England. Bummer about the seals.
