Hey everyone! I am starting my certification process and just finished the home based study part. I have wanted to learn to dive for many years, but for one reason or another it has always fallen through. I missed many opportunities to get certified while living in Hawaii and I regret not doing so. I was supposed to start my upcoming class with one of my friends, but he has backed out at the last minute. I am thinking about just doing it by myself, but wasn't sure if you need a dive buddy to go through the certification or if it’s common for people to do it alone. One way or another I will get certified and look forward to all the knowledge this forum has to offer.

Whereabouts in florida? You'll get assigned a buddy for class if you don't have one, no big deal. I'm always down for some diving, hit me up when you get certified :)
