new gone seems to be dead?

i just got a new gobe 500 search (supposed to be the fast charge model, but looks like i was sent the wrong one)
so i emailed l&m and they asked for some pictures to confirm it is the wrong one. I'm waiting to hear back from them. but in doing so i noticed the light won't turn on. i tried charging it and it does nothing. tried a few different USB chargers. all no go..
any ideas?

So l&m say it's dead. Probably was left to go flat in the warehouse and gone into sleep mode.
So they are sending me a new, redesigned, body.
But it seems such a waste to just throw this one away just because it's gone to sleep.
