I just picked up my new Dry suit, BCD, Reg and would like a buddy to do a quick test dive and then perhaps a real dive afterwards.
Thinking about Sunday 24 July.

Anyone interested?

Oh Crap I would love to, But I have a commitment I can't get out of (I tried)

I'd be very interested in future photo op dives as I am looking into underwater housings for a Nikon D70S now.

What gear do you have?

Jason

Oh Ya SubaChris82 and I went out.

Had one good dive and one my mask kept flooding. Funny thing the mask wasn't new.
We got it figured out and were able to have a great second dive.
My new suit and BC were great.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out. I also got a buncha new gear, Drysuit, BCD, Reg, Tanks & Computer.

Interested in helping me test my new setup?

Sunday & Monday are good for me!

I was originally NAUI certified with about 34 dives from 96-97, then came out to BC and couldn't find compotent people to dive with & I didn't own gear, so I kinda stopped.

I always intended to get back into it, but then months became years. So this summer I went out and I got a PADI OpenWater cert, now I will be doing my Advanced starting Aug 22nd.

I plan to dive every weekend, night dives wednesday. I own all my own stuff & have 1year of unlimited air, so my point is I want to get somewhere between 50-100 dives in the next 12 months.

I also want to keep up with the training, I plan to get up to DiveMaster, I don't have a buddy currently.

Any semi accurate date when you would be ready?

I wanted to dial in the new setup before my class to ensure there are no hicups.

I am sure everything will be fine, so we could actually do it as a dive unless something goes wrong!

Hey Justin, I hope you don't mind diving with someone with less experience than you? I'm at 17 dives with my AOW.
I was hoping to get out on the 21st of August for 2 dives.

How's that sound.

Anyone else need a dive buddy for that week end we could get a group together and make is a skyhoppers group dive

J

To be honest, about 30 of my dives are freshwater, cold in a wetsuit.

So I have about 10 saltwater dives, 5 have been in a drysuit.

I just bought all new gear, so I guess it's going to be like learning all over again, so I expect to have to set my weights, learn all my equiptment, settle all the adjustments ect, so I am thinking I will suck. :D

So really I just hope someone will put up with sitting there watching me make endless adjustments while I more then likely have to look down, thereby flooding my suit. :11ztongue

Maybe on the other end of the spectrum, everything will be perfect :crafty:

My AOW starts on the 22nd, so the 21st will be awesome, beggars can't be chosers!

Let me know!!

Justin
