welcome, I use to goto swim meets up in santa barbara (loved the early morning mist shrouded hills), when I lived in simi valley, but now the ocean is a loooong way away sigh

woah! what a response rate! i didn't check back because i didn't get a scubaboard email notification until just now...

thanks for the offer sb_diver. i get a free boat dive after my certification so maybe i'll make a post to see when other people are headed out. i heard that kelp diving off the channel islands can be incredible on a sunny day.

day 3 of scuba starts tomorrow, i will be taking "that first breath underwater" - i can't wait!
