The problem with any of those Antennariids is how much overlap you get between species when identifying them through morphometrics. Ray counts often overlap with other species, color is usually variable, and they can morph the shape of their body by growing nodules throughout their life. I've seen a similar lined pattern before on another species of frogfish, but google images is failing me and I left the book it is in at work. Often, the best way to tell them apart is either by looking at the Esca (lure) or in some species a "close-enough" identification can be made by counting the fingers, or rays in the pelvic fins. Ichthyologists even have to kill them to make a positive ID.
