Hello all My name is Josh i live in Nc and I want more than anything in this world to spend 60 % of my life with my Wife and children and 40% of my life underwater :)

I have always loved water its soothing, Beutiful, and Exciting. <~~Ok done Pawing

Anyway Im looking to start diving and get some certs in the hopes that i can get into underwater search and rescue?

I have no idea where to start any help would be greatly appriciated
 
also come to the nc wreck diver area. acroll down to clubs, click north america, click nc wreck divers. very active very nice group of all experience levels!

Hey Josh, welcome to SB, great analogy to spend 60% of your time with your family and 40% of your time diving. But a warning, you might spend 60% of your money on diving and only 40% on your family.;) All kidding aside, you found the right place to launch your new found love of diving into reality.

Thanks I'm sure ill be leaning on all the experience on these boards. I read the all the posts that you all suggested and im hungry for any advice i can get :)
Right now im looking for a good Dive shop in the Raleigh area. When i get signed up and ready to go Ill post again but for now ill just read keep my mouth shut my fingers tabled and learn something I look forward to all your knowledge
