new electronics or new housing

I shoot a canon 500d i am just wondering if the 550d will fit in the same housing with an up graded of the TTL elecronics, or is it a new housing, thanks John

The two cameras are similar but several controls differ in placement between 500D (T1i) and 550D (T2i) cameras. We offer a housing specifically to fit the 550D camera which offers full functionality.
