So after too many years of teaching others to dive and getting totally burned out, I basically quit diving a few years ago to pursue other interests. I recently realized how much I miss being underwater, and am getting back into diving. The worst thing about not diving is that all my gear shrank rather dramatically sitting in the garage, so I finally made the decision to go BP/W. I had to use gear the store sold while I was teaching, and BP/W wasn't an option, so I never got around to buying one.

After much reading and researching, I narrowed my choices down to either DSS or DR. While looking at prices on an unnamed but rather popular online store, I put a full DR rig into the shopping cart, including a transplate harness, SS BP, STA with 2 SS cam straps, and a Voyager EXP wing. Didn't intend to purchase, just wanted to check the price. At first, it came up to over $560...too much (I'm old and cheap). I called and asked for a better price as a package, and they offered me $100 off. Not too bad, but I wasn't done yet. Searched around online and found an obscure 50% off entire order coupon that everyone said doesn't work. It did for me! $233 for everything...kept waiting for an email saying "uh, no", but didn't happen. Everything was processed and shipped, and will be delivered on Thursday. I looked around again, and the coupon I used has disappeared...should have put more stuff in the cart.

Pretty excited about getting back in the water soon.

Received everything I ordered...it's all assembled, adjusted, and ready to hit the water. I am really impressed with the quality of everything. Going to try and get to the pool this afternoon and figure out the weight and trim. I really wish the coupon code I found would work again so I could buy another one for my wife.

Wonderful ! Now keep diving, else the new gear will shrink again sitting dry in the garage-

cool, welcome back! I'll be curious to see if the "deluxe" harness remains on your configuration after some time diving.....
