My name is Paul. I currently am the founder of Rocky Mountain Diving Solutions. I have created Software for the commercial Diving Industry. I am currently looking to get some opions in making some specialized software for recreation Diving, tech diving, and any other area. The software has already been copyrighted I just would like to know what the demand really is.

Questions that I have are:

Who would be intrested in a software that is full intergrated with Decompression Tables, Decompression Treatment tables, Flow charts for Treatments, Recreational Dive Planner with Dive Log. Print function, in order to print any information out. Medical Terminology, Mix gas calulators, Calculators period for almost anything, tempature, volume, Partial Pressures.

Would the software be benifical to you.

What would you like to see in the software.

Again I appriciate any feed back good or bad about this issue.

Please feel free to email or phone.

It's hard to evaluate the demand for a product without getting a feel for its features and capabilities. Have you thought about making a demo or beta version available for testing and feedback? From my experience, there are lots of products out there that seem like a good idea but lack this or that feature that would make them really useful.

You might want to copy your post to the technical diving and DIR forums and to technical diving based sites like The Deco Stop. (I'm sure that there are others, but I'm not familiar with them.) These places might give you a better feel for the more technical end of things.

Just my $0.02. Good luck with your development program and welcome to the board.

Hmmm... Interesting question. Right now you have to jump through several pieices of software to get that functionality. My first thought is this: anytime I see someone try to be a jack of all trades, each piece of the software goes down in quality (look at Microsoft Windows). But if the quality and price were right - I would imagine there would be a demand.
