Just certified in April. Learned in Chicago and open water in Florida. Got a dry suit since wil be mostly diving in Chicago/Midwest--it really is nice not getting cold and wet. Can't wait for more adventures.

Welcome to the board!

Welcome to ScubaBoard!

I think I see a dry suit in my future. Just not sure how far in my future! ;)

Welcome Aboard!!!

It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.

Hiya. I'm quite new to diving and so far have been in a wet or semi dry suit... How much more difficult is using a dry suit??? I'm getting one given to me soon so i need to know really...

Hi wpscortland. A drysuit is next on my "must have" list. I just recently got certified too, and it's not that long before the summer starts drawing to a close here in the UK, so I'll be facing a long haul before I dare leap in a quarry with just my semi-dry for company again! How easy did you find it to adjust to diving in a dry suit?

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
