There should be tons of dive shops in toledo make a phone call to a couple. A good place to start would be the yellow pages.

As far as shops go, check out Aqua Hut. Located on Reynolds Road. I just got certified through there and would recommend them. Nice people, run good class and gear specials, and they plan weekly fun dives at the local quarries. Not to mention the awsome indoor heated pool. Tell them that Becky and Joe sent ya. There's also Diver's Paradise right next door to them if you want to shop around some.

Lol...what she said. Aqua Hut is an awesome place to do business with, and they're excellent when it comes to training people and getting people set to hit the water. Their number is 419-531-4655.

Nate, where in Toledo do you live at? Aqua Hut's main location is on North Reynolds Road, on the corner of Reynolds and Elmer. I live in BG, so I'm not that far from you. PM me or email me if you need any other help.

Happy diving!

Thanks all! How much did it cost to get certed? I dont live in Toledo but I live in Whitehouse a small town close to Toledo. I have most of the stuff I need flippers short and long wetsuite goggles and a good snorkel. Im only 17 so Im not looking to spend a fortune but something to do with my buddy at our lakes.

Cost of classes depends on the schedules that stores offer. Best bet is to call Aqua Hut and see what they've got...their number's in my previous post.

Try a search on the NAUI and PADI sites. Also, ask at local colleges as sometimes they have dive programs. Good luck.
