Hey. I'm new to diving with nine dive and want to ask when i should consider purchasing a new BCD? :dontknow: Also, What type of slate should I buy?

Your BCD, and any other equpiment, should be something you're comfortable wearing/using. Did you like what you used on your previous 9 dives? If not, why? Some, myself included, dislike the "squeeze" of the jacket-style so we use either back-inflates (i.e. Zeagle Ranger) or back plate and wings (do a search). There isn't a "best type". But there is one that is "best for you" and your diving, you just have to find it. Welcome to diving.

You'll find that many on this board have strong opinions. Some say you will die if you use a bp-w (back plate and wing). They are being a BIT dramatic. While others say you will be laughed out of the water if you're seen diving a jacket-style BCD. They exaggerate just a little. Find what you like, and dive it. Tell those who dislike your choice to go get bent! (just a figure of speech)
