Hello and Thank you for letting me be part of this group.
Just finished getting my Naui Scuba Diver certification. (my wife and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary)
Check out dives were intense...(28 degree ambient temperature and a water temp of 37 on Lake Michigan). Full 7mm suit. Learning curve was quickly accelerated.
. Our dive instructor said, "that it cannot get much more challenging than this as far as temperatures go".
I have been snorkeling and free diving for most of my life, but this is the BEST!!! I cannot wait to log some more dives (in warmer water), and catch up on all that I have been missing. Although a rookie, I loved the camaraderie that exists in this community. Proud to be part of the 1%.
