Thanks so much for all, I am super happy to know more people here who loves diving. I am new to scuba diving. Xmas holiday in Cuba was my first time diving in the ocean. Wonderful experience, I am so passionate on diving. Believe me or not, very hard to get back to work cuz full of my mind is - Diving! Hopefully, my boss has not realized it, do not fire me .

Welcome to the Board, Where in Cuba did you dive? we usually go to Santiago de Cuba Great place to experience your first few dives.

Thanks for your msg, diving in Cuba is absolutely wonderful experience. Well, for the seasonal reason, it was windy on Dec. Just try to skip Dec and Jan. For me, I am new to dive, want to take easy way to start, for you, you are expert of diving, the wind or current should not be an issue

Thanks so much for your msg, I went to north of Cuba - varadero on Xmas time, it was windy there at this season. Next time, I would like to try south side and another month of year. Water in Cuba is beautiful...

Same thing happened to us on the North shore close to Varadero, that's when we decided to go to the Southern side and we have been returning there every year since.
