I just don't log dives
Hello,

Wish I would have known about this site sooner. I've wanted to dive since I was a kid but was never allowed to take lessons. Did a fair amount of snorkleling growing up and into early adulthood, but time and money prevented me from persuing any further until... I got divorced. One of the first things I did was to take lessons! But then... Nothing. That whole time/money thing again, plus I don't have any friends that dive.
Anyway to make a long story longer my daughter and step son (fresh from a "grow your own Dive Buddy" kit) have now finished the classroom and pool portion of certification, and we'll all probably be at Gilboa for their open water testing the 12th & 13th of July.

We're all looking forward to diving... (except my wife... she refuses to go into water above the waist.)

WELCOME TO :sblogo: and the underwater world!
Divorce got me into diving too! Definitely a great way to start a new life and adventure. Good luck on all your adventures! Too bad about your wife, she is missing incredible things and the absolute best feeling of floating weightless amost the beautiful fish!

Happy diving!
