New Diver looking for partners

Hello,

Let me introduce myself. My name is Dan and I live in Joshua tree. No where near the ocean, but Socal none the less. I am turning 50 in a few months and my family and I are going to Roatan to celebrate. I am a flight paramedic with a very odd schedule which leaves me available to dive during the week and I really want to dive more. Let me re-iterate. I am a newbee!

Is there anyone here looking to dive with a rookie during the week? I have a few friends that like boat diving but it seems that is always on the week ends. I am a very easy going guy and would most prefer to be safe than anything else.

I just wanted to thank all the people that PM'd me. This is obviously a great board to meet people. I have not yet responded to all PMs but will very soon. I am going diving tomorrow with "Scuba G" at Shaws cove. I have never been there and can't wait. Any advice or tips about Shaws are very welcome.

I would love to do week day diving with you, alas my work schedule doesn't permit me to do so. However, if you were to ever want to do a weekend dive, PM me and I'll see if I can accompany you.

There's always someone beach diving and we do mid week boat trips called DWnDD (Ditch Work n Dive Day). It's a really great group of divers who's are always open to diving with new people, all experience levels are welcome.
