New diver in Gilbert AZ, Got Buddy or club?

Hello all.
I am a recently certified OW diver, and I have purchased a set of gear and plan on using it. I am looking for a dive buddy or club to dive in local lakes. If you know of any or are interested please let me know.

Welcome!
There is a very active dive community in the Phoenix area.
I myself am in Mesa just over the Gilbert boarder.
Look on Scubaboard under Southwest Sand Sharks. That's where you find the more localized info. Most of the area divers use Lake Pleasant for a local dive spot and most any weekend divers can be found there. Saguaro Lake is closer for you but the visibility is very poor (about 3' max) I dove it last December for a Project AWARE cleanup dive. The area dive shops arrange trips to San Carlos, Rocky Point and California as well as trip to other well known dive destinations. As for a club PM me your email and I'll send you invites to a meetup group and another site to find dive buddies on.
