Hey all, today I received my open water certification at Divers Den in Panama City, Florida and remember on the padi learning site that they say to use forums to get to know people, learn, and get groups!

Well I'm from around the Columbus georgia area.

I absolutely love underwater life and fell in love with diving when I took my first breath underwater this week. I am hooked!

I am already wanting to plan another trip somewhere around here or Florida area.

I do not own my own gear, but I am looking to purchase a beginner setup soon. So if anyone could point me to the right section that I could ask about that stuff, that would be great! Thanks all!

Congrats! Nice looking group. And welcome to Scubaboard.

I'm up the road a bit from you, Nashville TN area (Clarksville actually). My instructor loves Panama City, says that it's the second most visited dive destination in the mainland US after the Keys. I'm looking to make a trip down there this summer. Here in TN we've got lots of Quarries to dive, some all set up as 'dive parks'.

Thanks guys, and Steve I was born in Clarksville. Small world. If you ever want to make a trip to Florida, let me know. I'm looking for some people to get to know and start diving with!
