New diver from Philly

Hey all. Just about to do my pool dive, and am planning my open water dive in S. Fla for January. Just wanted to introduce myself, and see if there are any other divers from the Philly area to buddy-up with at some point, not to mention learn a thing or two from. Thanks!

Welcome to SB and good luck with your OW cert! There are 2 forums where most of the people hang out and chatter from this area DNY and Wreck Valley. If we are not traveling out of the area to dive, we dive locally at Dutch Springs to play/practice or off the Jersey shore.

Hi Royal Gramma. I second Donna's suggestions for nice places to hang out on SB. Too bad you missed the 2nd Annual DNY Turkey Fry last weekend at Dutch Springs. Great food, great people and some of us got in a couple nice dives too. Welcome to the board. Its a great place to hook up with buddies and learn something as well.
