I've got a question. I drove north of Perth about 15 years ago and they had these signs. It stated basically no homesteading after a certain date, date was a couple years previous, were people allowed to just go out and homestead along the coast before the date, if so when did it stop.

What does coastal property, a couple hundred kilometers north of Perth, cost? There was nothing up there when I did a road trip years ago.

I was working on an oceanographic ship, with limited inport time and didn't have a chance to dive the northern area, it looked great for diving.

Thanks for the welcomes!

DennisS: Sorry mate I have no idea in regards to homesteading. With house prices, Perth had an insane price increase across the board in the last few years. 40% growth year on year for 3 years almost. Any decent house with ocean views would be pretty expensive!

welcome aboard
