Hello everyone. My name is Robert. I've been wanting to get certified for years but something or another always got in my way. 99.9% of the time, it was my kids. At 41 yoa, I finally got my PADI open water done. One week later, I was diving Maui Black Rock. I'm now officially hooked. I'm looking forward to more training and many more dives. Oh yea, and asking many newb questions on here. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Howdy and welcome to Scubaboard! :admingreet:

Funny how being so close to the ocean you have to travel for good diving, or do the Flower Gardens liveaboard weather permitting. You're one flight closer to everything than I am tho, including the FGs - and they are great diving, especially for you locals who can with cancellations easier and not have to worry about flying after diving.

Welcome to SCUBAboard!
