I'm a new diver, got my open water a couple of weeks ago. I have been thinking about doing it for a good 20+ years but never got around to it. A couple of years ago the girlfriend and I did a discover scuba in the Bahamas and I enjoyed it. We did another one in Jamaica a year later.

After all of that I finally decided to just get certified. I got my two daughters, 14 and 12, to start the certification as well, one did finish, the 14 year old, the 12 year old decided she didn't want to do the open water. Not sure why though as she hasn't really said. She might decide to finish it in a couple of weeks though.

The GF and I are planning a trip to Belize, hopefully this year.

welcome, Belize was one of my favorite dives. I mostly dive cold green water. but on occasion I find my self in the ttropics. will be going to Belize in 2022.

I'm hoping that we will be able to get to Belize this year, we're also starting to look at US Virgin Islands. After that I have no idea where we'll go until this is all over. Staying at home so much I have a week I have to use and she has a couple. Having just learned I'd like to get a few dives in before winter comes.
