Hi all --

Almost 2 years ago, I decided that I would become a certified diver for my 40th birthday. Today, after the challenge of having to learn how to swim and pass the OW course in 3 weeks and with about 15 dives under my belt, I am so glad that I chose diving instead of buying a red convertible or leaving my husband to 'eat, pray, love'!

Dives have included a Resort Dive in Boracay (Philippines); OW in Aruba and fun dives in Hawaii & Culebra (Puerto Rico). Planning to get the AOW in Culebra in December and Nitrox in La Parguera (I found the famous Victor and Roxanna -- now at Blue Water in Parguera).

Looking forward to being part of the board!

you remind me of a young man who had driven from New York City to take a U/W Photography course,,,he was very excited also,,,
i ask to see his C-Card,,he said what Card? i then asked if he could swim,,he said no,,,so i started with swimming classes, then scuba lessons and finally a U/W Photo course,,,he spent the whole summer at my dive shop in Key Largo,,,

the wetter the better!
