New dive shop in Richmond

Just found out last nite that there's a new dive shop in Richmond on Waters St.
Anybody been there? We're getting ready to leave for vacation in a little, but will check them out when we get back. Just wanted to know if anyone had already been there..
Sure will be nice to have a real local DS instead of driving an hour or so to one.

Yeah, I've checked them out Moore Scuba met the owner in December when he opened he's running the dive shop as a second operation to his video and game resale shop. He's selling sherwood gear that he gets through a shop from Florida that he partners with. There is no service or gear yet and he has, as of mid April, not hooked up his compressor as there was voltage issues with the old building he's in. He's offering Naui diver certification classes and offers travel packages.

He and his wife are great folks very helpful! I believe his wife is a PADI DM and he is a Naui instructor or both. He even rented me his personal tank after christmas so I could get in the pool to check out some dive gear santa left under the tree. Like I said he's a great guy but I don't know if the operation can survive as it is in Richmond but who know's until he gets air will have to continue to go to Lexington for fills but if he gets air up then I'll definately be seeing him some more. He's more than happy to have you stop by and talk scuba and look around.
