In response to an excellent suggestion by one of our SoCal divers, we will be posting a monthy sticky post for dive reports for the local area.

Please place the dive site / dive date in the title (e.g., "Shaw's Cove / 16 July 04" ) as the post's title so that we can easily scan the reports for a location we may be thinking about diving.

For July, I will take the thread representing most of the dive reports and make it sticky. Unless someone prefers, I won't go through and try to merge all of the free standing dive reports. If you want it merged, post to this and I'll be happy to do it.

Any other suggestions?

A "sticky" is a special type of thread that is "stuck" at the top of a forum regardless of when the last post was logged.

My Sticky thread regarding our demo is above this one, thanks to NetDoc. Threads are made sticky by administrators.

I like the suggestion by Pasley to outline the dive report as follows:

July 04 Dive Reports

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Date:
Dive Location:

Bottom Time:
Max Depth:

Wave height:
Temp at depth:
Surface Temp:
Tide information:

Nice and organized, maybe that can be in the "sticky" too

Seeing no objections and a few suggestions, we will implement this ASAP. I have combined a few of the dive reports that were separate into the July 04 Dive Report thread. Beginning in August, please post all dive reports to the monthly thread -- I will pick up any stragglers.

Dive Safe.
