I have been doing a lot of research about Raja Ampat myself, it looks wonderful and quite remote. Very difficult and expensive to get to. I believe there is at least one dive resort there but cannot find my research on it at the moment. On my last dive trip I was heading there but decided instead to go back to my favorite place, Palau, as it is easier to get to, cheaper, and also tends to have more big sea life, (sharks and stuff)which I really enjoy. (There truly is no place better to dive than Palau) But someday I will get to Indonesia/Irian Jaya/Raja Ampat. I'll be looking for your dive report!

cdiver2:
I have just finished reading about a new dive destination Raja Ampat ( four kings ) only liveaboards there. any one dived it yet looks very interesting.

I think either Scuba Diving or Sport Diver magazine did a story on Raja Ampat in '05, might check those.
