I think your wife wants you to dive with inactive divers so that she doesn't lose you to the sport. ;)

My sister lives in Poulsbo, You will love this board! It is a great way to meet other divers! in your area-and with all types of skills-from tech to just joe diver! I have had a chance to meet some great dive pals on this site, traveled to other states and been invited to dive & partys!
As you dive you will find folks that just dont do things like you were trained,so beware. You must never get in a situation That YOU -YOURSELF-cant get out of when diving with a new dive Pal/Buddy
Go over everything prior to a dive,if its not right CALL THE DIVE! If you dont feel good about the dive plan=CALL THE DIVE!! Try allways to dive with divers that have more skills or dives than you, dont get on a dive charter and think it will be safe-you may find yourself with a group of deep or tech divers that will not buddy with you,
Dont be scared to let folks your a Newbie. Also dive, dive, dive the more you do the better you will be~!
And when you plan a dive, use your table, even if you have a computer, use a watch also- they are cheap! and if you get lost underwater-loose your buddy,or a diver calls the dive~ go to the surface and stay there, too many times I see divers going up then down and missing the other diver, with new divers. and as a group if a diver goes up you should too! way too many things can go wrong.
So Dive safe! Its a blast and you will have fun!
