It looks like it has more information, and obviously that information will be up to date.

EDIT: Just ordered the book through CDS, can't wait to read it! They are saying "The long awaited "Cave Diving Articles and Opinions" cave diving manual is here", So maybe I answered my own question...

That's why I only dive the caves but stay out of the politics.... lots of great people cave diving, and lot's of great information from all parties, but lot's of competing egos/motivations.
