new bw&h with 60# lift is it to much

I dove a single 95, ss backplate, and 7lbs of lead a few weeks ago (stupid 6.5mm two-piece wetsuit ) with my 30lbs Eclipse wing...did just fine. There's no need to have a 100lbs wing unless you're trying to lift the wreck instead of dive it.

I dive a Zeagle Tech with the standard 65lbs. lift wing......when diving both my single st.130 and st. doubles with deco bottles.....works fine.

I Just Got A Halcyon Evolve 60 Wing, Ss Backplate & Harnes. Have Not Had A Chance To Use It. Will Be Diving With Dry Suite, Double 108's. Wondering If 60# Lift Is To Much. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

My opinion - its not excessive. It may be a bit more than you need but not excessively so. I dive dbl 104s dry with a 55lb explorer wing. With 2 80's, a can light and cave fills, I float pretty low in fresh water. If the evolve is anything like my explorer, it will wrap nicely along the 8" tanks and not stick signifcantly above.
