http://www.keldan.ch/ is an HID light manufacturer that uses the brandname Solaris. I don't have any info on the backup light.

Well, if it runs as well as the Solaris Operating Environment, I'd say go for it!

The solaris 1 backup light is manufactered by an austrian (europe) company called selected.
The body is one pice solid delrin, with the uk sl4 head and 2 o-ring seals. The body has grooves and a rough surface so that you can handle them very well with thick gloves. the dimension is similar to the scout backup light. The lamp is testet till 125 m. the finsh is much better and the price is cheaper. (73 Euro incl. Tax Solaris and 105 Euro incl. Tax Scout)
