New Backplate/Harness question

Hey guys finialy got my golem rig in. Got it nice and set up took about 3 hours its awesome good make anyone around me lets go diving look at profile. Jakub thanks for the help and i would say to anyone to get this rig really sweet.

Hello i just got my Golem 35lbs combo in just got it all setup. Since its new and my very 1st BCD im all happy and stuff and just wondering should i keep the wing on the backplate or can i just keep it off and just put it on when ever i need it. Can i keep it on will it affect it? Im just nervous and stuff i been playing with it all day cant wait to dive im just one happy diver its like a kid in a candy store.

LOL.....Keeping the wing on the backplate is perfectly fine and no harm will come to it....i promise ....Better to keep it on, than having to go through the minor hassle of on....off....on....off....

I take it off and apart for the following reasons:

1) salt water is not friendly and most of my diving is in salt water so being completely
apart facilitates thorough rinsing of all parts and pieces

2) it "forces" me to actually examine the wing, etc. each time

With that said, if I set it all up and then for some reason am unable to use
it, but it remains dry, I just leave it set up.

Thats actually good advice, but I never rinsed my stuff...even is salt water. And the Golem wing is tougher than my Pioneer wing was.

ya Golem is really tough wing built like a rock. Thanks to jakub i got mine yesterday i would go with Golem. Ima buy a double rig off him again in the next 3-4 months
