Does anyone know why Atomic is listing their ST1 regulator as a new item? From what I have been reading, it came out in 2007. Did they upgrade it in anyway?

...I'm not sure there is a universally accepted definition on when a product ceases to be classified as 'new' ......

if it's from their site, it could be the last time they updated that page...they don't do too many updates on that site from what i see...

I think it's the "newest" of their regs, no?

Well the "original" is not. I know the T2X and the Z2X are just minor upgrades to the previous models, but they are the newest ones that I know of.

I'm a huge Atomic fan and have lots of their gear, but I'll be the first to tell you they really need to update or, even better, completely overhaul their website.

I just got an email from Darcy. The ST1 has not been upgraded and they are in the process of overhauling their website. As far as the ST1, I found one at my LDS on sale for $630.00. It retails for $899.00. Do you think anything they might come out with this year will be worth the wait or extra money? From what i have read, all of their regs are great products.

I have no idea what AA's plans are for the ST1, but I just wanted to post that Atomic has indeed overhauled its website.

I look forward to killing some office time surfing the site later this week. :work:

I checked it out a little while ago. It is a major improvement. If you do a search within their website for "computer", there is a preview of their new Cobalt dive computer. I emailed Darcy at Atomic about it's price and availability. No word back on it yet.
