my LDS is now offering hy-mark AL80 for sale. apparantly this is a medical cylinder manufacturer getting into the scuba business. sells for almost HALF of a comparable catalina! also, they sell a 3300 PSI AL80 thats negative, even when completely dry. has anyone bought this before? Hy-Mark Cylinders

kinda scary that their own scuba tank specification chart has a MAJOR error in it. Anyone else notice it?

We're a Hy-Mark dealer and really like the product. It does well for us, and our Lifetime FREE cylinder inspection that we offer with the cylinders does well for our customers too!

What error are you referring to?

I have a couple Hy-Mark AL 40's for deco cylinders. Float like a Luxfer, tail light which is nice.

Is their air lighter than the air that I use?

The buoyancy charts appear to be wrong

I noticed that they claim their tanks don't have the same change as others but I thought maybe there were some other factors. Now that I compare the tanks to Luxfer or Catalina I don't see how their claim could be possible. Is there something we are missing?
