Does anyone have any magic to reduce the rubber smell of wetsuits when stored?

I am not talking about the stink of poorly clean neoprene for which there is lots of information out there.

Just wondering if there is any way to get the rubber to not smell like rubber when in a closet, drawer or storage box. Something like cedar does for wool or pot pourri for linens.

It’s pretty aromatic, I think you are better off with a vapor barrier. Maybe a Mylar “space blanket” lining a storage crate would help.

He's baaaaack!

I'm using Supratex neoprene at the moment with a quite kerosene punge if you sniff it
but hanging stuff in the open, all over the place dissipates the smell, and not sniffing it
as the stench grips your nostril hairs

I'm really surprised at how long the aroma of monprene lasts I call the Scubapro smell

Yeah exactly no matter what you do it is like that and the stench remains until all of them are obliterated
