I have a couple of comments. First, this really isn't a "vintage" regulator, as it is a very modern design and probably a very good performing regulator. It may even out-perform some of today's new regulators. It is a balanced, flow-through piston with a second stage adjustment (see the description Regulator bj gave us above). This adjustment is a knob which "dials in" the second stage tuning. You can do that without disassembling the regulator (much like the comparable Scubapro regulators). Herman's description of the cracking pressure is very good above, but realize that you can change the cracking pressure on this regulator by increasing the spring tension on the second stage or decreasing it with that knob. If you get the cracking pressure much below 1/2 inch of water, expect in some positions a bit of air leaking through the exhaust valve. Saying the above, I would disassemble the second stage enough to make sure the insides are clean, pull the outer housing off the first stage and wipe down the piston O-ring with silicone grease (let it sit a while, then remove all excess grease),then put it back together and use it (test dive first). 'Just some more things to think about; you got a great deal with this regulator.
