We did St. Croix land based years ago, after reading so many times it was great diving and the best in the US Virgins. (Probably before I realized Scuba diving magazine was full of it.) If that's the best, I'd hate to see the worst. Better than a day at the office, but I wouldn't bother returning.

Hodge Podge,

My wife and I just got off the same trip as Ronscuba (on the Pilot) and had a great time. Nitrox was a consistent 32% and reefs in Belize were in good shape. Staff was helpful. Hope you have a great time in January.

Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.

I'm going on saturday, and maybe I can update the board on what's happening.

Hodge Podge, I just got off the Pilot in Belize yesterday. Had a great trip. Nitrox was a consistent 32%, seas were calm, reef was healthy, crew and guests were a pleasure to be with. I had zero problems and did not hear of any from anyone else.

Well ...the thread is about the PR/USVI itinerary but I have been on 2 - 3 of the Nekton Belize itins and all of them have been first class. Nitrox was reliable, the boat functioned well and the captain and crew were exemplary.

I've also had a wonderful time on the Nekton Pilot in Belize in Februaury , but let's see how the roqual is doing with the new Puerto Rico itinerary.

Kelly,

How was the Rouqual? My husband and I are thinking of booking it for Medio Reef in April.
