Hello all, I kinda feel like I am intruding here because I am not a diver yet, however my father is and unfortunately he is under tha care of Hospice right now. The reason I am reaching out to you all is that when we were little he used to play us these diving songs and they were really funny, and I want to get a copy of them (we had them on cassette at the time) I have no idea who they were by but if anyone would have a clue it would be his diving community.

One of the songs says " Im a Scuba diver , I get high by going down" and the other barracuda one says " He's the meanest critter in the sea and he was coming after me ... " i cant remember any more of these songs and my sister and I have been racking our brains and we havent found the cassette at his house yet.

If anyone has any idea can you please let me know where to find these funny calypso songs.

By the way my father has already made his arrangements and we will be placing his reamins in the Neptune Memorial Reef off Key Biscayne.

The guy that sings these songs is the Barefoot Man, from Cayman Islands. I think he has his own website that you can order up his CD's. If not, check the Cayman tourism website, and they can direct you.

I am sorry to hear about your father, but he is my hero. I want to do what he is doing in the Neptune Memorial. My thoughts and prayers are with you and him.

Thanks for the info, thats the man and I have ordered the CD's. Dad passed on Jan 3rd but we will have the Cd;s in time for the memorial on the 24th ,,, thanks a bunch

Thanks so much for the information, this is the right musician and he was very helpful when I contacted his site. Dad passed on Jan 3rd but we will have the music for the memorial on the 24th and then we will be taking his remains to the Neptune Memorial Reef in July. I will be getting certified before then with my younger sister so that we can both make the dive. Thanks for all your help.
