I'm presenting a workshop soon over using scuba to teach science concepts (Archimedes principle, Boyle's Law, light absorption, etc...). While I've been able to use my own photos and video for most of it, I have a couple of gaps, and I can't think of anyone who could be in a position to help me on short notice other than my friends here on SB.

Does anyone have photos of divers using propelled vehicles (scooters)? I'm also in need of a photo or two that shows an anchor line or other reasonably straight object (arm, leg, etc...) that extends from the surface to below the water line (to show diffraction of light, etc).

If anyone could provide me these shots, I'll be glad to give you credit, and I'll be eternally in your debt. Much obliged for any assistance you might be able to render.

C'mon guys...don't let me down! They don't have to be "professional grade"...even though I know most of you photogs out there are, right?:D

I'd really appreciate it if you'd share.

And when you make it to Texas, maybe we'll share a dive or two.

Something like this?

How about this:

You Tube has videos of scooters in use. I watched some of them today. You could probably get some of the other things you need from there also.

You will have to have very clear water to get the refraction of an anchor line. The photo will need to be from the surface...Hell...even then it would be tough to get a shot like that....

Edit: I guess the picture didn't download. If you click on View Gallery the first picture shows the divers and the anchor line refracted.
