I DIYed a stage bottle (40cf) strap, but I can't seem to find a soure for the innertube (for hose retention). Walmart fatboy bike innertubes are too small, car inn tubes are too big. Anyone know a source or have some lying around?

Home Depot or Lowes -- garden tractor tire innertubes.

They're not perfect, but they work.

Roak

Wheelbarrow tire tubes work as well.

You can buy the straps shipped with the Halcyon kits at most pottery specialty shops. This is great for replacement straps. For original stage rigs, it is easier to just buy the kit from Halcyon.

Tractor Supply should also have them. I'm in the same predicament. Problem with my local Home Depot is they have been out of the regular tubes and only have the ones with the self sealing goop in em. I could live with that and rinse em out but they are like 12 bucks compared to 5 or 6.

Any certain size of tractor inner tube? i.e. 6" about right?

Personally, I prefer the Dive Rite stage kit ... seems like better hardware altogether ...

Dive Rite on the left ... Halcyon on the right ...

A strap that tanks longer to cut. Nope, not a better DIR solution.

Update: Thanks guys wheelbarrow inner tube worked great....except for that stupid slime stuff.
