Need Some Strobe Help

This in interesting. Are you sure there is a real difference and just not a marketing difference. They look identical and the Intova looks like it is sealed when I open it up...



The only difference is the sealed battery compartment on the UltraMax. Besides that they are identical.
 
Update: I called them to tell them that I didn't want to pay the $280 for the repair and the guy on the phone said that they had the wrong amount on there and that it would be $165. That seems a little more reasonable. So I am going ahead with the repair/upgrade for $165. The guy said he would thrown in a used camera mount and arm (which I kept and didn't send in for the repair). So I am getting a new SL961 head, used arm and tray for $165.
 
Hi i've got a intova strobe iss 2000 and it works really well have done 50 dives with it and been down to 26 meters no leaks, just grease o-rings every couple of dives and also use rechargeable batteries usually get two 1 hr dive out of a set batteries 150 photos so not bad there are some photos in the gallery, can recommend this strobe.
