Where can i find a relative easy place to get to in mid December that has warm weather and good diving? Somewhere that doesn't need half a dozen different types of transfers, with lots of sea life and health reefs and corals.

I'll be flying out from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I know Mexico is a popular destination, but how's the diving there compared to other places in the region this time of the year?

I know Air Canada flys direct to San Andres Island in the winter months, only a $15us tourist card needed
Great Diving, heathy reefs with wildlife.

I am in Vancouver too. Mexico is good right now. You could fly direct to Cancun and go to Playa del Carmen. Tank Ha is a good diveshop on the Fifth ave. and they go to Cozumel too. Puerto Vallarta would be cheaper flight and not bad diving ( but it's not the Mayan Riviera). Other good option is Maui (would recomend Ed Robinson diving) or if you like "old, quiet Hawaii" go to Molokai and go diving with Tim (only dive shop on this island).

Be careful of US cold fronts blowing you out of Mexico(CZM) diving then.....I would head further south to say Roatan, they pretty much have guaranteed diving there ie north and south side of the island is available weather wise.....
