Need quick advice for Bali Resort

Never been to Bali so really don’t have a preference. Would like someplace a little less touristy but I know that might pose a problem with high season.

Somewhere to just get a taste of Bali.

Spent a week here a few weeks ago. My first trip to Bali. Excellent, friendly, attentive staff (memorized my name). Walkable into the shopping district.

The Hyatt Regency in Sanur if you get a room with club access is the best Hyatt hotel I've ever stayed in bar none!! There is even a choice of 5 mixed drinks at dinner time in the club. Food in the club is amazing, and all the employees are super friendly. My room was on the small side, but I spent almost time there except to sleep. The two pools are wonderful and the location central to town. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
