Perhaps you're attacking this from the wrong angle. Have you thought about going to the gym and bulking up your feet? I have in my hand a pair of size three booties, so they make them. I can order some sixes for you if you like.

the reason you can't find them is they aren't marketed to divers, they're marketed for use up top - so you should get them at a ski shop, or store for backpacking equipment. I bought mine for skiing, a purpose for which they are completely useless...I'm sure the moisture-retaining, non-wicking quality isn't great for hiking either.

then I moved them to my dive bag, where I now keep a pair at all times! neoprene socks aren't just a fix for the sloshy boot problem, you can use them INSTEAD of boots. out in the boat when someone in the group forgets their boots, my socks have saved the dive lots of times.

also if your fin strap is hard to undo while you're sloshing around getting your equipment back on the boat after the dive [and you DID say you've been sloshing around, Gidds], it's much easier to slip it off the socks than off boots.

here's the brand I use, which comes in your size + others :

Paragon Sports in NY sells TYR neoprene soft booties for about $10. My wife wears them under her hard-soled boots for a snugger fit.
